Pallavi Ghosh is a social activist from Assam, has rescued more than 10,000 girls with the help of police, local informer, and other Governmental organizations like NGOs. According to her, human trafficking occurs all around the world and the most targeted are those families which are financially weaker or facing some other crises and are easily trapped. Most of the girls are from northeast India. One more fact she got from her research is that the girls of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh are specifically brought for labor work due to their strength and healthy personality.

Other than this the girls having fair complexion are brought for prostitution or sex work, this is the dark truth of that place. Shakurpur is the biggest placement hub agency in Delhi, this place provides proper choosing of Groomed Boys and girls for work. Another fact from her research is that there is a Bedia community where the family’s elder daughter works as a prostitute and her father and uncle are her clients.
Things Pallavi Ghosh did in a Rescued Operation:
To perform a rescuing operation in an illegal place is a very difficult and risky task to do but she did her work full of enthusiasm and dedication. After getting information from locals, she started working on her rescue operation to save the trapped girls. And then sent them to the Child welfare committee after proper medical check-ups.
