On January 22, 2024, India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the holy consecration ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Mandir at Lord Ram's birthplace.

The ceremony was filled with divine music from 30 Indian instruments, ranging from the Santoor to the Sitar, creating a spiritual atmosphere throughout the event.

PM Modi traversed five mandapas of the grand Ram Temple, including the Nritya mandapa and Rang mandapa.

The 'Pran Pratishtha' (consecration) took place at about 12:30 PM during the Abhijit muhurata, a time believed to be when Lord Ram was born according to the Valmiki Ramayana.

PM Modi described the moment of 'Pran Pratishtha' as overwhelming and expressed his fortune to be part of the divine occasion. The consecration occurred within an 84-second window, during which Ram Lalla was adorned with a golden tilak, golden bow, and jewels made of emerald and ruby.

PM Modi offered holy water from Gangotri and a Lotus flower at Ram Lalla's feet, leading the consecration alongside RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat. Helicopters showered flowers over the temple premises, the Sarayu River, and the Ram ki Paidi area, marking a historic moment in India's cultural and spiritual landscape.
